About the project NHS Connecting for Health (CfH) is transforming information and technology systems in the NHS to provide a better
service to patients and stakeholders.
During the transformation, CfH needed to develop the benefits realisation methodology and support the delivery of benefits outlined in the implementation plan.
The Approach AMTEC drew up the benefits realisation methodology, supporting procedures for benefits planning and a pro-forma for the
plan itself. AMTEC also provided direct support to individual Strategic Health Authorities in drawing up their plans for benefits realisation.
Specialist skills and techniques developed by AMTEC's benefits realisation specialists enabled the project to retain sight of critical outcomes.
