expertise to progress a major information-sharing project concerning children's

Sharing information is vital for early intervention to ensure that
children and young people get the services they require. The DCSF ContactPoint
will support the work of children's services in England from 2008. AMTEC was engaged by the ContactPoint project to provide support
services to help DCSF prepare for its OGC Gateway reviews 1 and 2 (Business
Justification and Procurement Strategy). The objective was to identify, test and
quality assure key project documentation, and to ensure the project's readiness
for each OGC Gateway Review. Working with the ContactPoint project team, its SRO and wider
stakeholders (including business stakeholders and user representatives), AMTEC
helped to ensure that the project was aligned with its original business
objectives. | AMTEC's services to the ContactPoint project contributed to its
successful passage through OGC Gateway Reviews 1 and 2 and helped to put it in a
strong position to continue to move forward and achieve its overall objectives. AMTEC subsequently helped the ContactPoint project to prepare for
its successful Gateway 3 Review (Investment Decision). | ||||||
