Our policy
AMTEC Consulting recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in compliance with legal requirements. AMTEC is registered under ISO14001, the internationally recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses.
AMTEC has implemented the ISO 14001:1996 standard to comply with its own environmental and economic conscience and to support the public sector's clearly stated objectives in this area.
Overview of our approach
As the majority of AMTEC's business is with public sector clients, our compliance to Public Sector bodies' sustainability and diversity standards is well-tested and has been proven and externally audited through AMTEC's many government framework agreements (e.g. OGCbs Catalist, Department for Work and Pensions Cipher). AMTEC therefore recognises the need to materially contribute to these objectives and specifically support the achievement of the KPIs for individual organisations.
Our environmental practices aim to: improve our environmental performance continuously; reduce the production of waste; comply with relevant environmental legislation as a minimum level of performance; minimise pollution produced and aim for pollution-free processes; foster the commitment of all management, staff and associates to improve our environmental performance; adopt an environmentally sound transport strategy; minimise the use of all materials, supplies and energy; assess the environmental impact of our operations; use renewable or recyclable materials, wherever possible; include environmental consideration in investment decisions.
