Introduction We believe it is crucial for business
to act in a socially responsible way. To this end we will seek to operate
ethically, with regard for the environment, and
to be a caring neighbour in our community. Values at work Throughout its history,
AMTEC has demonstrated caring and giving principles at the heart of its business
practices. As we have grown, our values have matured into a Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) policy which reflects our attitudes and beliefs. Donations
are reviewed on an annual basis, with significant sponsorship to one charity,
complemented by a number of smaller charity events. Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice,
local to our Head Office in Farnham, offers specialist palliative care in a
compassionate and friendly environment. Our employees raise money for the
charity through various means including raffles, book swaps, dress-down days and
staff donations. As a company, we also support the Hospice diary and Christmas

We support the work of the Cleaford Christian
Trust, a Farnham-based charity that provides support to projects in
Romania, including a children's hospital in Brasov. AMTEC has donated new
