AMTEC Consulting is one of just three suppliers to win a place on a new
framework for transformational consulting services awarded by NHS South Central
under its 'Transforming Care Phase II Programme'.
The programme will benefit patients in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire,
Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight - a population of four million
people served by nine Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), nine Acute Trusts, three
Mental Health Trusts, one Learning Disability Trust and a single ambulance
service.
NHS organisations requiring expert advisers will have direct access to AMTEC's
broad range of consultancy services for Lean working, project and programme
management, organisational development, pathway redesign and knowledge
management.
The pool of specialist advisers includes clinicians and operational experts
able to relate to all levels within the organisation and all NHS stakeholders
groups. The preferred supplier framework will run until March 2009.
"Once again, our extensive track record in whole economy
transformation and integrated service improvement has paved the way for a new
framework award," says John Totman, AMTEC Account Director for the
health sector. "Along with our partner consultancy organisations -
AMNIS, KM&T and Saigei - we aim to provide South Central NHS with
flexible and scaleable transformation solutions from one point of
delivery."
The NHS South Central award is the latest in a series of consultancy framework
agreements won by AMTEC during the last few years. Others include the OGC
External Resources, National Policing Improvement Agency, the Ministry of
Justice, Defra and OGCbuying.solutions (Catalist).
