AMTEC Consulting rounded off an excellent year by confirming that revenue
growth of 65.4% places the company third in the list of fastest growing firms
within the consulting sector. The 21st annual survey of the UK consulting
industry published by Accountancy Age on 10th October 2008 also saw the company
rise to 34th position in the list of the UK's leading consultancy organisations.
"We have achieved our high level of growth through solid progress in
our key sectors and not through merger and acquisition activity," said
Craig Wilson, Managing Director at AMTEC.
With fee income exceeding all expectations at GBP 30.6m, AMTEC gained 5 places
in the overall standings, which are based on total company revenues derived from
consultancy during the 2007/08 financial year. As in previous years, the survey
defines consultancy in terms of 'business advice' and covers
all sectors within the UK.
"We are delighted at our performance in the rankings", added
Craig Wilson. "It reflects our growing reputation in the marketplace as
a 'trusted advisor' with real expertise in enabling our
clients to realise benefit from their investment in change, programmes and
technology. Very few companies can claim the depth and breadth of our experience
in the public sector. Our capability to cover the full spectrum of business
change, our client relationships and 'access to market' are
what sets us apart."
