AMTEC Consulting, a company dedicated to enabling ICT and business change
through advisory consulting, resourcing services and ICT solutions, today
announced record results for the six months to 31st October 2009.
Revenues for the first six months topped GBP 18.2 million, a 29% increase
over the same period last year. Prospects for the next period are equally good
with firm forward orders already standing at 100% of the yearly revenue target
(FY 1st May 2009 - 30th April 2010).
"This phenomenal rate of growth demonstrates a commonly held belief
that during an economic slowdown clients often turn to trusted brands,"
said AMTEC Managing Director, Craig Wilson. "We are encouraged by our
strong financial position and anticipate annual revenue of GBP 36m for the
current financial year."
During the last quarter, AMTEC was one of only a handful of suppliers to
secure its place on a new Buying Solutions consulting framework through which
the UK public sector will procure ICT consultancy and delivery services.
Commenting on the award, Craig Wilson added: "These frameworks put
AMTEC at the heart of ICT strategy delivery in the public sector. We will help
our clients to address the Green agenda, benefit from innovations in the ICT
industry and achieve the targets set out in the Operational Efficiency
Programme. "
Operational highlights:
- revenues up 29% compared to the same period last year,
- the award of three key ICT consultancy frameworks in the public sector,
- a GBP 1m network support call-off contract with a Department for Transport agency,
- customer satisfaction feedback showed 100% of those responding would recommend AMTEC as a service provider (Jan-Sep 2009),
